Outside Sales Representative - Belleville

Position Purpose

The Outside Sales Representative is a professional responsible for servicing and retaining customer accounts within a specified geographic territory as well as driving new sales through assigned stores. In addition, the Outside Sales Representative is responsible for growing existing business year-over-year, as well as identifying and developing new accounts within their geographic territory.

Essential Functions

• Learns and sells the entire Negwer Materials, Inc. product line
• Introduces and educates others on new product lines
• Oversees Residential accounts, outlying commercial accounts, and industrial accounts
• Participates in local industry organization and events that support our sales direction and culture
• Attends and completes required training classes and reads assigned training materials
• Assumes responsibility for knowing and observing our rules of conduct and safety at all times
• Some inside sales and operational responsibilities as defined by the Location Manager and/or Vice President of Sales
• Grows and maintains relationships with customers and Location vendor contacts
• Ensures follow-up and response to customer needs in a timely manner
• Flexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and regular travel
• Performs other necessary functions as assigned

Qualifications Preferred

Knowledge

• 3-5 years of sales experience
• Some college preferred
• Ability to learn and sell our entire product line
• Comfortable with learning and using new technologies
• Sufficient experience with the Microsoft Office suite
