NDS Branch Office Operations Assistant

  1. Position Purpose
    1. The Negwer Door Systems Branch Operations Assistant, works at the direction of the Location Manager,  facilitates and coordinates the flow of product and information, from vendors and Negwer offices, to the branch office, customer facilities and jobsites.  Provides administrative support activities for other Branch Team Members.

 

  1. Essential Functions
    1. Receives product shipped to our warehouse.
    2. Ships products to customer facilities and jobsites.
    3. Performs "check-in" at customer jobsites: Ensures accuracy of shipments and verifies quality, quantity, integrity, timeliness, etc.
    4. Works in company provided software system, CERP, Microsoft Office Suite, etc., to perform and record company transactions.
    5. Performs warehouse management tasks such as cycle counting, inventory control, etc.
    6. Process return of defective products to vendors.
    7. Service calls to jobsites.
    8. Coordinates with other Negwer offices regarding shipping, receiving and delivery.
    9. Coordinate both inbound and outbound LTL shipments
    10. Performs record keeping of all activities.
    11. Performs other necessary functions as assigned.
    12. Seek operational efficiencies in labor practices.
    13. Risk experience maintained to current levels or improved.
  2. Special skills
    1. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    2. Valid State driver's license in order to operate a company pool vehicle
  3. Qualifications Preferred
    1. Knowledge
  1. 1-3 years related experience
  2. Minimum high school graduate
  • Comfortable with learning and using new technologies
  1. Sufficient experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel & Outlook).
