Location Manger - Urbana

Position Purpose

The Location Manager manages daily operations and customer service of their location. Location Managers have a high level of interaction with customers, field customer calls, and are responsible for the highest level of customer service and professionalism.

Essential Functions

• Provides direction for and coordination of activities within the Location
• Participates in administering Company policies
• Participates in developing long-range goals for the Location within the framework of Company sales goals.
• Collects, reviews and analyzes operational activities, costs, and reports to assist in determining progress toward stated goals and objectives
• Ensures that location promotes a safety-focused culture, and ensures that equipment and facility meet Company, OSHA, and DOT standards and regulations
• Monitors the condition of Company buildings and equipment
• Grows and maintains relationships with customers and Location vendor contacts
• Oversees their location in all areas of personnel management
• Coordinates and/or prepares, and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Assists the Credit Department with collections and credit limits based on upcoming work
• Flexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and some travel
• Performs other necessary functions as assigned

Qualifications Preferred

Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in construction material distribution preferred
• Comfortable with learning and using new technologies
• Sufficient experience with the Microsoft Office suite
