Field Operations Manager

Position Purpose

The Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the distribution of material and human resources in the field, communicating regularly with customers and vendors, and tracking job progress.

Essential Functions

• Oversees and evaluates Delivery Associates at various jobsites, reports findings as needed
• Acts as backup dispatcher for Operations
• Promotes our safety-focused culture and follows safety guidelines
• Transports individuals to drug tests as needed
• Trains Delivery Associates and Warehouse Associates on the operations of boom trucks and forklifts
• Relays reports from Delivery Associates to Dispatch as needed
• Resolves customer inquiries and/or escalates issues as necessary
• Coordinates safety meetings
• Visits other yards to provide support as needed
• Acts as first contact in most vehicle accidents or property damage situations
• Audits tickets to ensure proper completion, and resolves discrepancies
• Manages paperwork in a timely and organized manner
• Grows and maintains relationships with customers and vendors
• Regularly interacts with other Departments (Accounting, Sales, etc)
• Flexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and regular travel
• Performs other necessary functions as assigned

Qualifications Preferred

Knowledge

• 3-5 years related experience in construction, or related field
• Moderate knowledge of Sx
• Comfortable with learning and using new technologies
• Sufficient experience with the Microsoft Office suite
