Door Systems Shop Supervisor - Sauget

Position Purpose

A Negwer Door Systems Shop Supervisor is responsible for efficient operations in the Warehouse, with a high emphasis on safety and customer service.

Essential Functions

• Conducts inventory and recordkeeping as needed
• Assigns shop work
• Reviews tickets for shipping
• Waits on customers as needed
• Assists with upkeep on Company equipment as needed
• Checks work for completion and troubleshoots changes
• Assigns work schedule for NDS Shop Associates and NDS Warehouse Associates
• Takes calls from Team Members and schedules vacations as needed
• Grows and maintains relationships with customers and vendors
• Oversees inventory control
• Coordinates deliveries with dispatch
• Ensures follow-up and responses to customer and vendor needs in a timely manner
• Tags and prepares materials for shipping
• Oversees shipping and receiving from LTL
• Safely operates forklifts, trains others as needed
• Flexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and some travel
• Performs other necessary functions as assigned

Qualifications Necessary

Knowledge

• 3-5 years of warehouse management experience
• 3-5 years related experience in welding preferred

Physical

• Ability to sit, stand, lift, and carry up to 100 lbs easily and safely
