Door Systems Process Administrator

Position Purpose

The Negwer Door Systems Process Administrator assists in creating, implementing and enforcing procedures that ensure each department of NDS is operating in an efficient and profitable manner. Daily tasks can vary across several business functions including sales, accounting, purchasing, and inventory control; providing support in these areas as needed to keep the department running smoothly.

 

Essential Functions

  • Develops instructions and guidelines to establish internal procedures concerning the execution and administration of NDS projects, and provides guidance to the NDS General Manager concerning such policies and guidelines
  • Facilitates communication between various departments such as Sales, Purchasing, and Project Management
  • Troubleshoots problems and escalates issues as needed
  • Monitors complex administrative or operational problems or procedures and provide status reports including conclusions and recommendations on such complexities
  • Resolves issues between Suppliers and NDS and works to build Supplier relationships
  • Participates/leads in the development and implementation of new and upgraded Contract ERP solutions in support of operational and reporting requirements conducting training as needed
  • Develops and prepares key messaging and presentation material for the Management Team and the NDS General Manager; creates and presents proposals and presentations
  • Reviews, tracks, and approves Purchase Orders and Acknowledgements
  • Communicates with shop personnel as needed
  • Manages the overall sales process and develops pricing policies
  • Coordinates and/or prepares, and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Grows and maintains relationships with vendors
  • Stays current with purchasing developments and trends, informs the NDS General Manager of upcoming impacts to the Company
  • Flexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and some travel
  • Performs other necessary functions as assigned

Qualifications Preferred

Knowledge

  • 3-5 years related experience in management, door and door hardware sales
  • Bachelor's degree with Business, Supply Chain Management, or construction emphasis preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Contract ERP
  • Comfortable with learning and using new technologies
  • Sufficient experience with the Microsoft Office suite
