Door Systems General Manager - Sauget

Position Purpose

Under the direction of the President of the Company, the Negwer Door Systems General Manager, plans and leads the work of the Door Department.

Essential Functions

• Establishes long-term operational objectives that are aligned with NDS goals
• Manages the overall NDS sales process and develops pricing policies
• Manages the sales reporting process
• Executes the complete sales process to target, qualify, verify, propose and close new sales opportunities
• Prepares budgets annually based around the Company forecast and coordinates needs to meet budgetary requirements
• Analyzes NDS financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets
• Coordinates and/or prepares, and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Measures the effectiveness of the NDS Department and implements improvements as required
• Builds, manages, and maintains professional, long-term customer and business relationships and partnerships through disciplined prospecting, local association activities, and industry networking to ensure continued growth
• Grows and maintains relationships with vendors
• Oversees the NDS Department in all areas of personnel management
• Stays current with door and door hardware development trends and informs Management of upcoming impacts to the Company, then implements changes as needed
• Flexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and some travel
• Performs other necessary functions as assigned

Qualifications Preferred

Knowledge

• 8-10 years related experience in management, door and door hardware sales
• Bachelor's degree in Business or construction emphasis preferred
• Comfortable with learning and using new technologies
• Sufficient experience with the Microsoft Office suite
