Accountant

Position Purpose

The Accountant is responsible for all Company Accounts Receivable and providing general support to the Accounting department.

Essential Functions

• Accounts Receivable including posting customer payments and making deposits in a paperless environment
• Maintaining sales tax exemption certificates and issuing sales tax credits to customers
• Providing support to the Credit, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting Departments as needed
• Assists in special projects required to improve processes and workflow

Qualifications Preferred

Knowledge

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Entry Level Experience, 0-1 years of related experience in an accounting role, or related field
• Solid understanding of financial accounting/GAAP
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with learning and using new technologies
• Proficient experience with the Microsoft Office suite
